About Travelocities
We help people plan better holidays — with clear, practical guides and free tools, and no pressure to book anything.
Our mission
Travel advice online has a problem: a lot of it exists to sell you something. Travelocities is built the other way round. We start from the questions real travellers ask — how much will this cost, how far ahead should I plan, what do I actually need to pack — and answer them plainly, then give you free tools to act on the answer. If a holiday goes more smoothly because of something here, we've done our job.
How we stay honest about money
The site is free to use, and we keep it running partly through affiliate links — if you click through to a provider and go on to buy, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. That's it. We don't take payment to recommend specific products, we don't publish pay-to-rank "best of" lists, and a commission never changes the advice we give. Where a page contains affiliate links, we say so. You can read the detail on our disclosure page.
What we are — and aren't
We're an independent guide and tools site. We are not a travel agent, tour operator or insurance broker, and we don't take bookings or handle your money. When you're ready to book flights, accommodation or insurance, that happens on the provider's own site, under their terms. Our job is to help you make a good decision before you get there.
Our tools, and your privacy
The budget calculator, packing-list generator and holiday countdown all run entirely in your browser. Nothing you type into them is sent to us or stored on a server — the maths happens on your device. We think privacy should be the default, not a premium feature.
Part of a small travel network
Travelocities is one of a few independent travel sites we run, each focused on a different part of the journey. Our sister sites Travelligence and Traveliase dig deeper into smart travel, insurance and the things that protect your trip and your money.
